Based on the other reviews I was really excited to try these jeans. A lot of other low rise jeans on the market either aren't low rise at all of are extremely low. These are perfect from a rise perspective. However, the sizing is where they lost me. I'm 5'9, 140 lbs and have narrow hips. I'm normally a 27 or 28 in jeans. Since these didn't come in a longer length I ordered the 28. When I tried them on, they fit but were snug in the thighs and hips. So much so that I had to check the double check the size. Additionally they hit at my ankle bone which was disappointing as they would had a gap between the bottom of the jeans and the top of my shoes.
