The Valentina Coated Bootcut Jeans

I love my bod in these jeans. Super high waist, hitting in the perfect spot, and the proportion of the “mini boot” is perfect relative to the length and high waist. Love the “coated” look of the Obsidian but wish it was MORE wax coated. Worry about washing the finish off like I’ve read in other reviews, but I intend to be careful. I ordered my normal size and it fit perfectly.

I am painfully particular about clothing and I have a difficult body type to fit in the realm of mainstream fashion (I am 5'10" with a fairly straight shape and a ridiculously tall pelvis). I ordered this style in woodside and obsidian. I like that the rise on these jeans is high enough to reach my navel and that this is a full length pant. I know the trend is often cropped in some way (including wide leg and flared/kick styles), but I can't get on board with these styles. My only minor complaints are the fabric feels a bit thin (in the obsidian wash) and I'd love the option of a wider range of inseams. 34" I imagine is too long for many, and I would like a 35" inseam so my ankles aren't exposed when I sit. But otherwise, I think this style is a very good, albeit pricey, high rise, full-length, bootcut style for taller folks.
