Ryder Leather Jacket

Very soft, high quality calfskin that drapes beautifully. I’m 62 and have a menopausal rounded belly, which makes it harder for me to find short leather jackets that fit well around my gut without being way too big and bulky around the chest and shoulders. I usually need an XL to accommodate my gut. This jacket in L is the solution. It’s not as swingy on me as on the model but it’s still wide enough that the look is relaxed. Admittedly, I was worried about the video description because that jacket seems to have leather that isn’t smooth and flat covering the zipper (looks like it’s slightly lumpy and bumpy and even a little shinier that the rest of the jacket) but 100% of the leather on mine is perfectly smooth and looks exactly like the body of the jacket. I’ve seen reviews where the collar of the jacket rubs the neck but I’m not having that problem even though my neck is pretty average and isn’t particularly long or graceful. I’d say to go a size down if you have an apple shape or go down two if you don’t. I think a medium would have fit me well pre-menopause. Also, I may be 62 but I lift heavy so my delts can make some clothes too tight across the shoulder. No problem with this jacket

I absolutely loved this jacket and would have kept it if not for the two-way zipper. They are always super difficult , get stuck all the time, and this one was especially bad, it got stuck the very first time I tried it on and for $650 I was not about to deal with that every time I wear it, as it looks best fully zipped up. I agree with other reviewers, All Saints leather jackets tens to run small, at least in the biker style leather jackets I would have to go up to a 10, but I could have worn a small in this one, but preferred the roomier medium so it's more oversized. Really hope AS comes out with another version of this without a two-way zipper!
