Faded straight zipped cotton jeans

These jeans are so flattering, they help flatten by belly and the zippers make them interesting. These are cute with slides or heels. Highly recommend. For reference, im 5’8 and 170 lbs. I am typically between a 30 and 31 Jean. I ordered these jeans in a 10 and they fit comfortably.

My measurements are 30" waist and 39 hip. I usually wear a size 6, sometimes an 8 or (rarely) a 4 depending on the fit and brand. I am 56 years old, not particularly athletic, and weigh 133. I purchased both a 38 (US 4/6) and a 40 (US 8). The 38 was so tight I could just barely button them. The 40 was significantly looser than shown in the pictures. It seems the 38 runs small and the 40 runs big, for me. Very sad because they are well made and probably very flattering if they fit right. Honestly I think they are made for someone with a more proportional figure, not a rectangle like me!
