Crafted with FC61 fine carbide stainless steel, the hand-honed Honbazuke blades boast scalpel-like sharpness with an authentic, thin Japanese profile of 9.5 to 12 degrees. The FRIODURx2 process guarantees extreme hardness of 61 Rockwell and a lasting sharp blade. Each mirror-polished blade is finished with a true katana edge, an homage to the samurai swords made in Seki centuries ago
Additional features: Pakkawood handles mirror the beauty of the blades, while details including a rounded spine and a mosaic pin add sophistication.
