The Ensign series was originally designed and made by Norman Walsh for the Bolton Harries, a British athletics club, to participate in the 1981 New York Marathon. As a classic Walsh style, it has withstood the test of the market for more than 40 years. The Ensign series now uses a variety of materials and different details and craftsmanship, which not only retain the classic design but also improves the comfort of everyday wear.
