Gorgeous Formal Gown

The gown was gorgeous. Fabric is satin-y, which I didn’t know from the photos. It is an elegant silhouette, and not ridiculously long, needed no altering! Hot just at top of foot. Ordered size based on their chart, and it was spot-on except maybe runs slightly small in the bust area. So if in between sizes in bust, order up.

A dice roll

Bought two sizes. 0 was too tight, but 2 fit perfect with the exception of the length because I am only 5'2". Difference in quality between both was like night and day! 0 was heavier, nice drape (same for lining), neckline perfect. 2 arrived wrinkled, material looked/felt cheap (same for lining), a rhinestone at the neckline missing, and worst of all black/purple dye transfer on my hands. This was mentioned by other reviews at both Nordstrom, and Bloomingdales. Extremely disappointed in the inconsistent quality of Max Dugal and at Nordstrom for sending out an inferior product.

The Black Dye is Everywhere

This dress is beautiful and fits well, although it is longer than my size. Unfortunately, everything that comes into contact with this dress picks up black dye. While hemming the dress, I got black dye all over my hands. Additionally, any part of my body that touched the dress also ended up with black dye, which took a good scrubbing with soap to remove.

Lovely Mother of the Groom Dress

Trumpet gown

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a size 10 first and it was just a little too tight in the bust area. I sent it back and got a 12 and it was to big in the waist and hips so I’m having it altered. It’s for a black tie wedding and it looks amazing. So comfortable and looks so elegant
