Eloise Turtleneck Semisheer Jersey Top

I was between sizes and went with the larger size (Med) because of Nordstrom's recommendation. From the photos, I expected this top to be mostly opaque, which doesn't seem contrary to the "semisheer" description. When I put it on, it was completely see-through. I remember a time when I was younger and single when I would see women out clubbing in see-through tops that showed off beautiful bras. That was not a look I was comfortable in even back then. Sadly, it had to go back. I love the deep, blue-red color of the top, the feel of it, and the lack of bulk. If it weren't so transparent, I would definitely keep it.

The black is a sexy top to wear out at night - you just need to find a fun bra to wear underneath. I'm size 38DD and ordered a Small. . it's tight along the chest but perfectly fit on my arms and stomach. I also have a Medium and I find it's a little too baggy in the neck and stomach. Overall I find that I need to size down for Marcella items.

I love the sheer look, the soft fabric, the sleek lines, and most of all, that the neck piece does not come up too high and does not feel like it's strangling me. It's a stunning piece.
