Sheer Ruffle Shoulder Cocktail Dress

This dress arrived today and I am so happy about it. The color blue is just as shown. I’m 5’11 so the length is perfect for me just above the knee. I had to order up as I am larger chested so will need to take the waist in. The dress is well made, well constructed & light enough for a May wedding. The ruffle sleeve is flattering and does not make you look broad. Highly recommend.

This was sold out in my size when I was looking about a month ago. But I checked on a whim over the weekend and it was back in stock. I'd been looking for an appropriate dress for our courthouse wedding at the end of April. This dress arrived today and ended up fitting me perfectly. I'm 5'1" and 115 lb, ordered a size 2. It comes down to about 2" past my knee, which is about what I was expecting. It's very comfortable, easy to moved around in, easy to put on, although I couldn't quite reach the zipper at the top to fully zip it up by myself. The sleeves are as beautiful in person as they are in the pictures. The material has a sort of weight to it and feels well-made. I can't wait to wear it!

Lovely dress but it is extremely long. I am a petite most times so thought this might be somewhat long and need alterations. But it is like a maxi dress! Nordstrom often puts the length of the dress in the description—which really helps. Not here, though. Would be great for a tall person but unfortunately I am sending it back.

This is a lovely dress. Well made and fits perfectly. However I found it was just a bit matronly for my taste at this point in my life. I am 57 years old 5’8” 130# 34DD for reference. I almost kept it for when I’m in my 60’s which isn’t that far off as what I loved about it is that it disguises the upper arm very nicely without having to have sleeves.
