Rocky Mountain Featherbed is a brand born in Wyoming, the cowboy state, in the late 1960s. Their iconic product is a down vest with a one-piece, seamless leather yoke, inspired by garments worn by Native Americans. Designed to thrive in the wilderness, these jackets are both classic and comfortable, as well as durable. The long-standing friendship between Alessandro Squarzi and Kinji Teramoto – a world-class vintage collector and one of the key figures who contributed to the vintage boom in Japan throughout the 1980s and '90s, and now the owner of Rocky Mountain Featherbed – led to a lasting collaboration. Alessandro Squarzi has combined Rocky Mountain Featherbed's bold, outdoor-inspired ruggedness with the timeless, classic elegance of Fortela. As a result, these vests feature nylon taffeta, leather, and shearling collars, perfect for fans of the great outdoors, with the unmistakable Fortela style.
