Great for my aging lids
I had all but given up finding a product to give staying power to 'long lasting' eye liner now that my aging eyelids have entered the dreaded 'hooded' stage. I have tried multiple primers but this one really works for me. It goes on smoothly and keeps my eye liner visible all day - even after the gym or yard work. I use it on my upper lid as well as a little swipe under the eye to keep my concealer in place w/o creasing. My skin is fair and somewhat dry but the lids tend to be oily.

Creases

Not Colorless
I have very pale skin and I thought this would be colorless. It might be colorless if you have dark skin. It will not work as a primer for my eyelids because the color is darker then many of the highlighters I use.

jDouble Wear Eyeshadow Base
The formula for this eyeshadow base is creamy (not greasy)
and goes on very smoothly. Sometimes I use it all by
itself without eyeshadow when in a hurry. It looks great
and gives me a nice coverup during the pale winter
months.
If using eyeshadow over the base, it goes on flawlessly
and lasts all day! There is no caking.

Best Eyeshadow base ever!
I had tried many different eyeshadow base products from all of the most popular makers of makeup the best! and I ended up returning all of them because they went on dry and left my lids dry and eye shadow was hard to apply. This product by Estee Lauder is the most creamiest, soft, velvety eyeshadow base I have ever tried and I a little goes a long way! I just love it! This is a MUST HAVE in your make up drawer or basket as I have! Try it, you will love it! And believe me I am the queen of returns on makeup if I am not happy or satisfied!! : )

creased
I thought this was awesome when I opened the jar. The texture is sooo creamy. But, it creased. I need an eyeshadow base that will go on evenly and prep my lid for powder shadow. This did not do the trick for me. I have lids that tend to oily, and thought I'd at least give this a shot. It was disappointing. Two stars for the container - easy to use, open and close, and the creaminess of the product. If my shadow had lasted all day, I would have given 5 stars.
