Discovery Trail Drawstring Shorts

Thought these would be my new favorite all-around shorts, but two reasons why they aren't: 1. Fit is quite large, most crucially because the rise is too long (tall). The measurement from the crotch to the top of the waistband (rise) is too long, about the exact width of the elastic waistband. If I fold over the elastic waistband, they fit perfect. I wear a size XXL in most everything but I wish size XL were still in stock so I could exchange them. 2. My favorite kind of pocket, the hip zip, was one of the features these looked perfect on paper. But in reality, the hip zip pocket sits too far forward, so my phone rests exactly as it would if it were in a front pocket. Ideally, the hip zip pocket puts my phone exactly on the side of my hip, which alleviates it riding too low and bouncing throughout my Hikes, walks, runs etc.
