Comet Backpack

I love Osprey bags and have bought a lot of them. I am writing this because I find it very hard to know which on to buy each time because there are so many! For me if you are buying a 65L bag you are buying it for space and then all the other gadgets. This bag felt like it was all bag and no space. It was very well made but not what I was looking for. Ive moved to the squffle and Im hoping that will work for my requirements.

So I've had this gray and black comet for over 2 and a half years, carrying my laptop, a bunch of charging cables, my lunch box, and a ton of other stuff I cram in there back and forth to work. I also empty it out and use it as a personal bag when flying from time to time. This thing is built so well, the zippers are indestructible. I often pull the bag open more by just pulling apart the sides, instead of properly using the zipper. The handles and straps are all extremely durable as well. I hang the bag on a hook by the top handle when at home. When I pick it up off the car seat or the floor I use the handle on the front- a feature I didn't even think would be useful, but I would miss it so much if I didn't have it. All in all- this is an amazingly well built bag, that perfectly fits my commute needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am an international expedition leader and I was a little reluctant to replace my trusty, 10-year-old Comet that had served me well for dozens of trips around the world. But, alas, the time had come, as it was no longer repairable. However, I couldn't be happier with this new model! All the same great organizational design with plenty of pockets and additional ventilation in the back. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if I'll ever get to use it. My wife immediately took it on a two-week trip to Zambia right after it arrived. Well done, Osprey. I'm sure this pack and I will have many great adventures ahead.
