Denim Midi Skirt

I just got my size 14 a few days ago. I really love this skirt. Sometimes denim skirts tend to kick out in the back, not laying straight down. This skirt doesn't do that so it's a very nice silhouette. It is a heavier denim and perfect for Fall, Winter or Spring weather. Great color as well. It is cut in a flattering way and I recommend it highly.

I wanted a denim skirt that was stylish and flattering, but more importantly: Functional. I saw this skirt online and tried to order it many times and it was always sold out anywhere close to my size range. I went into multiple Nordstrom stores and the sales people told me that it was "unavailable" so I sort of gave up. Then randomly last week I saw it become available again online (!!) and I went with the recommendation to buy my "usual" size. It arrived today and it turns out to be one size too large. I quickly went online to order the size down, but now the skirt is sold out again. Besides being the wrong size, it's just what I wanted: Like a pair of comfy jeans - but in a go-to skirt that I can wear 3 seasons with/out hose/tights/leggings. I may use my Nordy Ambassador alterations credit to have this altered because I love it otherwise. 4 stars only to bring attention to note that the sizing is NOT "true to size." I'm so sad that I didn't size down. :(
