Tour Mesh Sneaker (Women)

This athletic shoe is very well padded and very comfortable. The toe box is large and spacious yet my very narrow heels don’t slip at all if I tie the laces tightly in the front. The insole is removable and can be replaced with a custom orthotic insert. I have feet that become sore very easily but my feet have walked all day in these shoes and felt fine. I bought the dust color which is grey. They seem to be true to size because I always wear an 8 medium in the NB brand of athletic shoes and an 8 M fit perfectly in these SAS shoes too.

These are my first pair of SAS shoes which I always considered orthopedic shoes for design in the days my mom wore them with custom orthotics but my hard to fit feet require this kind of shoe these days for their benefit and also for my balance issues given I've had multiple sclerosis since college days. For fit comments context I share that I'm 5'4" / 107# and in spite of no weight gain my feet have expanded from a 7M to an 8.5W in the last 35 years. I appreciate SAS offers a lace up sneaker type in W that fits my duck-shaped-feet that are wider across the toe box but also work well for my narrower heels. The shoes are less flexible than I hoped they might be but still comfortable for walking. Great arch support. Lighter weight compared to other shoes in their class. I love that the soles are non marking and so won't scuff hardwood floors. And the taupe / pink combo is fun looking to wear.
