Sculptor David Yurman and his wife, Sybil, a painter, launched their house of design in 1980. Their collaboration has left a legacy of iconic pieces that are both style statements and works of art. Each creation is sketched by David Yurman, made of the finest precious metals and rare gemstones, and fashioned by some of the world's best craftspeople.
I purchased the Medium size. The entire length is 8 inches (my wrist after the wrist bone measures 5.5 inches). I like that it’s comfortable to wear and has timeless style. I take mine off end of the day but it can be worn all the times if someone prefers so.

Poor packaging/ presentation
Bracelet is such a classic piece for day or night. But… when I spend so much money I expect my jewelry to come in its original box, authenticity card, care booklet etc. It came in Nordstrom generic box, with an empty authenticity card. Presentation and packaging is very important to me especially for this price point.

Expensive, but love it
I love this bracelet. It’s beautiful, doesn’t feel too heavy, and best of all has an easy to use and hidden clasp (there’s a slightly larger chain piece that opens and closes). I purchased this bracelet a month ago and I’ve worn it every day for casual days and even a black tie event. For sizing, my wrist is little under 6 inch in circumference and the size small fits perfectly.

Never Again
I have patronized Nordstrom in Old Orchard for many years, primarily buying fine jewelry. In March 2024, I purchased a David Yurman bracelet that required two links added for a better fit. The purchase was considered a special order, so despite me paying full price at the time of sale, the bracelet had to be shipped to me. In April 2024, a sales associate phoned me to provide me the cost of the two links and to get my verbal approval to move forward with the special order. I really like David Yurman jewelry, this bracelet was gorgeous, so I gave my consent. I relied on my original sales associate to keep me posted with the progress of my purchase, but the month of May, June, July went by and no word from the sales associate. Grant it, special orders can take time to produce, so I didn’t want to bother my sales associate but I did expect an update/progress report at some point. I finally called the store, my sales associate was not available, but I spoke to someone else who was concerned because the bracelet should have arrived a long time ago. I was placed on hold for several minutes only to be told that she will have my original sales clerk call when she returns to work. A few days later I received a call from the original sales clerk and she was abrupt, “I was told you wanted to speak with me?” I questioned the status of my bracelet. She felt the need to tell me her husband had been sick. I guess this is the reason why she provided no follow-up for those months. She then proceeded to tell me her records show the bracelet was delivered in May 2024 and she has to investigate where the bracelet is. I was shocked, “May?” I spoke. I proceeded to ask questions as to what could have happened, she abruptly cut me off, saying she has to investigate and call me back. I expected a call back in 1-2 days. She casually called me back almost 2-weeks later only to say she can’t find the bracelet. “How do you show a bracelet as delivered but can’t find it? Was it stolen? Seeing that I purchased it, and have been making payments, should I file a police report?” I asked her. Her attitude was very dismissive and lacked compassion. Needless to say, the purchase was credited back to my account. I expected an apology from management. One month after this ordeal, I spoke with the department assistant manager who was familiar with what happened. The manager states the original sales clerk dropped the ball by not following up more frequently. I mentioned to her how I expected management to reach out to me to apologize for the mishap. I informed the manager how uncaring the original sale clerk was and how she tried to use the excuse for the lack of follow-up on personal family matters. The manager was not much help, other than saying, “don’t give up on us.” I told her I didn’t because I just made another purchase for David Yurman earrings. When I hinted at the possibility of extending me a complementary item or discount for my time and troubles, the manager only said again, “don’t give up on us.”
