Ace Belt Bag

I read a review of this on the Wirecutter site and purchased it in the light gray NOT on sale during the anniversary sale. I loved the feel of the material, however it didn't fit anything I need it to. One slot on the back of the bag seemed made for my long ago nano pod. Would have been better if it were made to at least fit my iPhone.

Firstly, the dark moss colour is not as nice in person. It is an unattractive, dark green colour which was disappointing, for me. However, this bag is very lightweight and the compartments are well thought out. Another point to note is the way the adjustable strap is made. Unlike, for example, Lululemon’s belt bag which has two buckles, this bag has only one. This means that when someone adjusts the bag they would have to be careful and hope the elastic, which helps to control the strap adjustment, does not wear out in time. If I had known there was only one buckle regulating the adjustable strap I would not have bought it. The stitching is neat and the one buckle appears to be sturdy. One other point to note. If you wear this bag across your chest it is difficult to quickly see the contents once you unzip. This is because you need to “lift” the top to see inside and access the contents. It may be a bit awkward if worn somewhat higher on the chest as a crossbody. This is something you will only know once you have purchased, packed and worn the bag.

This is the perfect size and comfortable fit! As a curvy girl, I was concerned it might not fit crossbody but it does and it works great! It holds my iPhone 13pro, two small key holder/coin pouches with room for some gloss, pen and even my sunnies (bulky sunglasses might not fit though). The small pockets are perfect for extra cards, receipts, etc. I bought it to carry minimally but it holds a lot for it’s small size. Would only love it more if it were on sale!!

I love this bag. Plenty big for the essentials I need most -- phone, cards/cash, lip care, and sunglasses/readers. The construction/finishes seem high quality, it's ethically made, and it's water resistant. Highly recommended for those who are looking for something that's not leather. It's so good I plan to purchase it in more colors.
