Cosmosis 6in Short - Women's

The La Sportiva Cosmosis 6" Shorts are exceptionally comfortable and well-suited for climbing, with a 6-inch inseam that hits the absolute sweet spot under a harness by keeping the leg loops from rubbing against bare skin. The right-side pocket is brilliantly designed—it holds a phone and keys snug against your body with zero bouncing or fear of items slipping out during movement. Visually, the fabric block pattern and thoughtful rear seaming are incredibly flattering, adding great shape to a flatter or smaller glute profile. The only notable drawback is the sizing at the waist. While the body fits true to size, the high waistband runs noticeably large, leaving about an inch of excess fabric that bunches up unless folded over onto the hips as a low-rise short. While the low-rise look works well, keeping the waistband full-height would offer better coverage and comfort under a harness. Overall, it’s a stylish, functional piece of gear that just takes a quick waistband fold to dial in the fit. Note: Purchased at a pro discount.

These are my go-to shorts for summer climbing. I love that the material is soft but also durable - they don't snag or pill when climbing outside. The waistband doesn't squeeze my sides, it lays nice and flat and still stays in place. The legs stay secure under my harness, I'm not fiddling with pulling the legs down when hanging. And the pocket is essential, I use it all the time!
