What it is: A liner that helps keep lipstick in place while preventing feathering and bleeding—plus it doesn't require a sharpener.
What it does: Line and define or smooth all over lips before lipstick application for extended wear. A non-drying formula helps keep lipstick in place all day long.
How to use: Follow dot-dot-dash method to ensure ease and accuracy of application–draw two dots on upper lip's bow, a dash across bottom of lower lip, then connect all three. To extend lip colour wear, fill in lips with liner, then follow with lipstick. Recap securely to protect formula.

love these pencils but mechanism broke on 2nd use
The twist-up mechanism broke on the second use. I’m noticing a real deterioration in plastic parts from all sorts of beauty products.

Broken mechanism

Opened box and it was broken
Customer Service was no help as I wanted to just get a replacement lip pencil at the same price that I had paid for this one (on sale). I thought I could just report a defective item, but instead it was a runaround and they ended up unnecessarily starting a return for the wrong Item. So, I will have to place another phone call in order to straighten this out and it’s just too much work for a company that is supposed to be all about customer service. I realize it’s not Nordstrom‘s fault that the pencil is broken, but they should make this process easier.
