Squall jacket
Have not worn yet, but fits as expected and is well-constructed. Bought to replace jacket (not LEnd) shredded by new puppy on neighborhood walks. Did not want to risk rips to my 34 yo Squall jacket which I still love for errands, xc-skiing. Hope tough Squall fabric holds up to puppy’s “big-lady teeth” in fall when it gets cool. She is very mouthy Portuguese Water Dog, tough on clothing.

Men's small is smaller than a boys size 18
Way too small. Wouldn't even close to zip.
I've been buying my grandson landsend squall coats for the past 6 yrs without any problem. He is currently wearing a boys size 18 that fits. I ordered a men's small for his next coat and it is so much smaller that it won't even close to zip. Size chart says small is 34-36" chest. This one absolutely is NOT. Got it on sale so it's not worth returning but I won't buy another if the men's sizes are this off.

The old version is better than the new
I bought a green one a few year back and a red one last month. The green one is having issues similar to the other owners. I don't have a zipper issue but do have bonded parts detached and reflective strip delaminated. Please see pictures. Also I agree the older generation squall jacket is better quality even with more years. FYI, I have a blue and red one. Also I noticed the old version is longer vertically than the newer version and therefore the older version is more comfortable, meaning it does not have a tendency to slide up.

Great as ever
I somehow lost mine of a trip last spring, I had had it for over a decade, I wanted a new one but was worried it would be a good, you know, "They don't make em like they used to" well, I'm hear to report that them do, I bought blue and it had a thin strip across the chest that I neither like nor dislike but its there, very happy

very satisfied with the product, except that it is heavier/warmer than the one I am trying to replace. My mistake, though, not yours. Overall, good quality for the price.

Got a great jacket at a great price!
Haven’t had much chance to try it because it is meant for cooler weather. It’s well made and fits nicely. Looking forward to Fall.
