French bread knife
Knife blade must not be straight. Cuts on a slant, every time.

Serrated Bread Knife
If you are thinking about getting it, just do it. it was worth it and preforms better than the 8” and cuts my thick sourdough like butter. just buy it!!

Home Baker Must
I was considering replacing my Wusthof Classic 8-inch with the same knife. I upgraded to the 9-inch Double-Serrated. I'm pleasantly surprised by the upgrade. Double-Serrated does a much better job with crusty sourdough loaves. I would recommend the upgrade for all home bakers. Plus, the knife also looks really cool.

Great bread knife
I had a Rada 9” bread knife that I had for years. I thought it was pretty good, but was definitely wearing out. I bought this Wusthof bread knife to complete my collection. There is no way to compare the two knives. I can now cut fresh made bread while it is still hot (definitely could not do that before without tearing it up. The slices are so much more even. I am really excited about this knife.

Quality product from Wusthof
This is a well made knife that cuts bread easily. The double edge serrated blade makes for easy cutting and the user does not have to force the knife but rather allow it to do its intended work. I really enjoy my collection of Wushof knives in my kitchen.

I can't review this bread
I can't review this bread knife because I bought it as a gift. I heard from my son and daughter-in-law that they love it and use it every day on a crusty loaf of sourdough bread.
