Lovely dress but laundering problem
I very much like the style of this dress - lovely black jersey material, flattering shape, a go-to cocktail or dinner dress that can be dressed up or dressed down. On the dress alone, I give it 5 stars. However, this dress cannot be cleaned! The label states DO NOT WASH, DO NOT DRY CLEAN, PROFESSIONALLY SPOT CLEAN ONLY. That might be acceptable for a formal embellished gown (though still unusual) that will be worn once or only very rarely for a special occasion (i.e. a wedding). But this dress is designed for wear in many settings - nice restaurants, parties, the theatre, and would also be perfect for that one dress-up outfit when traveling (I don't think it would even wrinkle). But I can't imagine not being able to launder an article of clothing either by washing or dry cleaning! So much to my disappointment it is going back. I hope La Femme to gets this feedback.
