Cesca Floral Ruched High-Low Corset Dress

It is beautiful and it fit perfectly! But the problem I had is the straps are too long and fall off my shoulders. Like they almost feel stretched out? And then one of the spots on the back where it should be ruched, is not pulled tight. So when I put it on the ruching is hanging loose off my back and you can tell it’s sewed wrong. I didn’t want to mess with an exchange so I’m taking it to a seamstress to see if it’s fixable.

It fit perfectly, and I felt amazing in it. My only problem is the ruching was sewn perfectly on one side, and the other side was sown unevenly. I also couldn’t wear the straps upright on my shoulders, they’d always fall down for the scooped side strap look. I took it to a seamstress and she unstitched the ruching on the messed up side and pulled it up. That fixed the loose floppy ruching, and made both side perfectly even. She also took the straps in for me so they fit my shoulders, but I still couldn’t get them to properly stay on my shoulders. I used this dress for my wedding and I wanted it to be very vintage feel. So the color and the romantic off the shoulder straps suited just fine. I will say I probably could have sized up because the ruched seam that goes down the middle in the back kept twisting every time I walked. I assume it was just my butt was a bit larger than the sizing called for. My measurements fit a large on waist and bust but xl on hips so I sometimes have trouble picking a size. I occasionally just tugged it back to place so it was okay. Other than the flaws that it came with I love my dress so much!

I wore this to a wedding and received more compliments in one night than I have in the last three months of my life. The ONLY difficulty is that the underlining shifts and twists, leading to readjusting every hour or less. Other than that, AMAZING! I paired it with opera gloves and a choker for added ~*drama*~.
