Cam Featherweight Straight Leg Jeans

I started with a 28. The waist was at least 3” too big and the overall fit was clownish, not cool. I know these are meant to hang off the body but the 28 was extreme. So I tried the 27, which was fitted at the waist (has anyone else heard of a three inch difference going one size down?). The legs were fine but the rise? Let’s just say these pants were way up in my business. So I measured: they had an 7.8” rise. I’m not spending more than $300 with tax to be the butt of Rag and Bone’s joke on consumers.
