Terrible
I almost never write reviews, but felt compelled to do so due to how much I dislike this shoe. I’ve worn ghosts for the past 10 years and this is by far the worst. It is nothing like the previous. For one thing they are way too high. I feel like I’m almost rolling my ankle just walking around in them. Another thing is you absolutely cannot slip them on due to the material and how the tongue lays which as my daily shoe I like to be able to slip my foot into without untying. The light color is getting dirty really quickly and I don’t even wear them outdoors mostly. They just don’t feel like the old ghosts and are not comfortable.

Amazing for walkers!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Full disclosure - I am not a runner - but I am an avid walker with very cranky feet. I've always been a huge fan of the standard Brooks Ghost (15, 16, 17, etc.), but from the moment I put on my first pair of Ghost Max 3 (about a year ago) it's clear I will only be purchasing the Max from now on. Just ordered my third pair! They are incredibly comfortable and supportive for walking (pavement mostly) on flat or hilly surfaces. I usually size up .5 from my normal shoe and they fit perfectly. Roomy in the toe-box, but supportive and snug for across the arch and around the ankle so my foot doesn't slid around going down hill. My feet are on the narrow side and very slim (kinda flat), but I find that the medium width fits me well (I have to sinch them up pretty tightly with the laces). I have one pair I use for daily walks, and another pair (in the super cute yellow!) that are great for errands. It's a little chunky looking, but I only care about comfort in a shoe like this. I've recommended this shoe to all my walking friends and made a couple of converts. Again, I'm not a runner so my review is only from a walker perspective, but I LOVE the Ghost Max 3!

You will regret not buying these shoes

Favorite!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ghost Max 3 are my new favorite Brooks!!! I have 4 pairs and can wear them for an entire day right out of the box.
I am not a runner, but try to walk 10k steps per day and these are comfortable for every step.
