Carrera Platform Penny Loafer (Women)

I tried and returned several chunky style loafers before finding these. They are perfect. No heel slippage, super comfortable and cushy insole. No rubbing anywhere. I’m a true solid size 8 in all shoes (except athletic) and the size 8 fits perfectly. Also, the shoes look classy and pricey. Super cute with jeans or corduroy pants.

I love these! They're super comfortable and surprisingly cute. I've tried many loafers in the past year, and my heel slips out of all of them, and all get returned. I ordered these in my normal size and can walk around just fine in them--no heel slippage. I was torn between the brown and the black, but ended up ordering brown in the end. It's really a rich and pretty milk chocolate color. Very well made and I love the extra height.

I tried several pairs of loafers and they all slipped off my heels. Some were also cut high near the ankle and bothered my outside ankle bone. These just arrived and are great in every way. The catch is that I ordered down. I have Born boots in 10 1/2 and 11. The 10 1/2 are the world’s most perfect for but Born doesn’t make all their shoes in 10 1/2 so I usually buy an 11 (in all shoes, Born and others). I bought these in a 10 bc I read on other sites that they run big. A gamble but one that paid off! I will wear them without socks so I don’t want extra room. If I need socks, I’ll wear my boots. Soft leather, not cut too high, very cushy. Born has never let me down. Now if only they’d make more 10 1/2 sized shoes.

Wore these shoes when traveling around Europe (5-10 miles daily) in the winter, and they were more comfortable than my sneakers! Slight lug, not too heavy, slight height boost, extremely comfortable. Appropriate for work. Wish they made a similar shoe in a lighter color way for the summer :) I purchased the size 6 and it was TTS
