Bloomstride Running Shoe

I have been wearing Asics for a long time for running. I took a break from them when they began to experiment with asymmetric lacing back in 2014. I came back after a lot of problems finding a shoe that was comfortable after I broke my foot (in a run). The Cumulus/Nimbus 22 was the last Asics I really loved although I tried the Glideride, which was cute but short, and am currently in the Novablast 5's which are OK- but they have a weird material that bunches up when tied to accommodate my narrow mid foot. I got these in the beige color and first wore them for an afternoon at the mall and they were awesome. I wore them for a run and really liked them, but was afraid they would get dirty. So I'm back to buy the red color so I don't have to worry about it and I'll keep the light ones for styling. ha. Anyway the reason I love them is because they have come down from the high stack rocker and are more like a traditional runner, but the cushioning is still amazing. The lacing isn't weird and tight where it shouldn't be and there is a nice cushioned tongue. The only thing they lack is the pull loop at the heel, but I'm okay with that. It isn't too wide on my narrow instep and plenty wide for my toes that have suffered from running from almost 40 years. I would recommend them 100%. Also, they are very grippy on the wet pavement, which is good for where I live since it rains so much. Good Job, Asics!
