Absolutely love them
This is my second Birkenstock purchase. I had previously owned the “Madrid” style but not in the leather version but rather the EVA kind that I thought would be great for beach/pool since it can easily get wet. I ended up loving how they felt along with the style, that I found myself wearing them all the time. I wanted to invest in a leather version of Birkenstocks and kept going back and forth on so many styles last year but they just weren’t “me”. Then this year I saw these and instantly fell in love. I love the color, I LOVE the gold hardware, and I love how comfy they are straight out of the box. I do not find them uncomfortable at all. Maybe other reviewers just need to “break-in” the leather? But similar to the EVA ones I already own, they’re very comfortable on my foot. Even more so I would say because of the great footbed these have . Regarding sizing, I’m typically a 7-7.5 in most shoes. In both the EVA and this leather version, I am a 37, which is the 6-6.5 size. Would definitely recommend. Posted lots of pics for reference. Cute but not comfortable
They’re super cute but not as comfortable as the other Birkenstock sandals I own. The footbed is not soft like the others and the strap kind of hurts the top of the foot.

Disappointing
I really wanted to like these! They are so stylish and perfect looking. Sadly, they are so uncomfortable I had to send them back. Felt like walking on a piece of wood with a hard piece of leather cutting into your foot. I though Birkenstocks were supposed to be comfortable...

My fancy Birks
I love Birks and I find them to be the only sandal I can wear in the summer that don’t hurt my feet after a few hours of walking around. These are comfortable and really cute

pink pop of color!
I have several Birks in different styles, and always on the lookout for a pop of color and saw this! Seems to run a bit bigger than my others, for reference I wear a size 8 medium width.

love these
I’m surprised by all the negative reviews! I love mine. Got multiple compliments the first time I wore them. They feel like my other Birks. I love the big gold buckle and the brown color. Comfy and they stay on way better than I expected. Very happy with them!
I wear a true size 8 and ordered the 38 and they’re perfect.
