Moyen Messenger Crossbody Bag

So wanted to love this bag and I partially did but I'm afraid the other reviews were accurate in that the straps just felt cheap. Maybe they would have worn in, maybe they wouldn't have but wasn't willing to pay $500 for a bag I wasn't obsessed with. Returned.

Beautiful green color with intricate basket weave detail and gold hardware. I freakin love it. The crossbody strap feels a little flimsy but definitely not a dealbreaker. Hopefully it holds up well, since I may only wear it as a crossbody bag. How is this bag sold out and I’m the only one to leave a review so far? Weird but whatever.

Great bag but the lining dyed everything in my purse black.

i had this in my cart for a while but really wanted to see it in person, and i am so glad i did. the quality of this bag just does not match the price. the straps feel so cheap- super stiff leather that is kind of scratchy. the plum color was also not what i expected- it was almost brown. i was really disappointed as i'd planned on buying it for an upcoming trip. love the size and idea of 2 different length straps- great idea with poor execution.

The interior is large pitch black with no pockets so trying to find things is like digging into a black hole. Also the black fabric inside bleeds onto items kept inside the bag, it ruined my once brightly colored Gucci cosmetic pouch. For the price I expect more, would it return if I could.

I am not sure what is going on with Nordstroms quality control or their warehouse or stores not checking goods before shipping. This is the 2nd item this week that I’ve received that’s used/damaged. The strap has cuts/damaged leather and I will have to return to the store. In regards to the bag - I was pleasantly surprised. Although when it arrives it’s very flat and doesn’t look exciting, once you pick it up you can tell it’s made of quality material. The hardware is high quality and the leather just feels thick. The way it hangs on the body, or across the body is also perfect - it lays nicely against you. I loved both the shoulder strap and the cross body strap options. I will repurchase the black , but I’m disappointed that I waited a week and now have to return in store and wait another week.
