Matilda Trucker Jacket

Just received this and I just love it. The texture is so soft it feels like broken-in suede, and the color is so pretty for fall. I'm 5'4" and the small is just the right length. Now I'm looking forward to fall weather so I can wear it!

This jacket looks really pretty in person -lightweight, soft and comfortable. I went with the size chart and got a large to make sure I could wear something heavier under it - there is plenty of room in the arms and around the hips. For reference I'm a size 10. I might've been able to go with a medium, but I don't like my jackets tight. It's not for warmth but it's a cute 3rd layer.

I liked this style and fit of this jacket, but it has no lining and the thin fabric has no body so it hangs like a limp noodle.

I absolutely love this jacket. I can hardly wait until the weather is cool enough to wear it. It looks like suede and is extremely soft and comfortable. A medium would have fit nicely, however I purchased a large because I like a slightly looser fit that I can wear over sweaters. It fits nicely without looking too big. The arms are long ( which is fine with me) and I just cuffed once and you cannot even tell. I think this is my favorite anniversary sale purchase ever.

I saw a woman wear a similar jacket a couple of years ago and always kept my eye out for something similar. This is it! The fabric - light weight with that suede touch and color - perfect bright, medium toned brown is perfect. A light weight jacket to pull together a simple outfit. Now, I just need it to cool down so this can be my go to jacket to wear for errands, dinner, work, etc.

I ordered this to replace a tan velvet jacket that's so getting old, it's worn thin. I think this little "trucker jacket" will be perfect. It fits the bill as a lightweight, layering piece, great for cool weather but not at all bulky. I'm usually a size 4 or 6 and the Small size fits well. It will do well over tee shirts or, later in the year, slim fit cashmere sweaters. Also, I can see this dressing up or down. All in all, definitely a keeper.
