BIOM 2.2 BREATHRU Sneaker (Women)

Finally! A stylish alternative to bulky-soled Hokas! I’ve worn these Eccos a few times in Portland winter weather. My feet have stayed dry, and the soles provide a good amount of traction in light snow and ice. They’re surprisingly lightweight. The heel isn’t as thick and “clodhopper”-ish as what you see in a lot of trendy sneakers these days. The understated design means that they’re more versatile than most athletic shoes. They pair nicely with my dark denim wide-legged pants and pretty balloon-sleeved v-neck sweater. I chose the white ones with hot pink, lavender, and chartreuse accents which coordinates with a majority of my wardrobe. The no-tie adjustable elastic laces are awesome! You can slip the sneakers off and on with ease. I knocked off one star because the insole on the left shoe hits me in a weird spot in the arch of my foot. After I’ve worn them for a few hours my left arch aches a bit. I really hope I’ll be able to break these in the more I wear them. If not, I can easily replace the insoles with my own orthotic. They’re true to size. I highly recommend that you give these Eccos a try.

I am a US size 4 and struggle finding shoes. Have always depended on Nordstrom, however they seem to be carrying more UK sizes which are 4-4.5. Some work, like adjustable sandals or the Soft 7, some do not. Unfortunately, these did not. They were just too big. I had really hoped they would work as I need a good walking shoe. Please bring back more US size 4 shoes.
