Bex Wide Leg Jeans

So I’m on the fence with these. You know when you put on a great pair of jeans and you fall in love. . .sadly this didn’t happen for me with these. I bought a size 28 and I’m 5’4” and 145 pounds. I love the style. The length is really long but with my 4” platform wedges they were perfect! Covering the shoe but not touching the floor. I’m sure you could hem the length but for us petite ladies it would be make the bottom even wider. They are very high waisted on me and I’m not sure if this would bother me when worn for an extended period of time. The dark denim itself is a little stiff feeling and the inside doesn’t feel smooth on the body. In fact the center back seam was crooked and I’ve never had this happen before. Very odd. They have stretch; however, the waistband does not. Tried them on twice with different shoes and they seem to already be stretching out but I couldn’t go down to a 27 as the waist wouldn’t fit. So sadly I think these will be going back.

I ordered this pair one size down after reading that they had stretch. The fabric is a great medium-weight stretch denim with clean lines. They are notably high-waisted as the other reviewer noted. The fit is absolutely perfect: no gapping at the waist and the length is exactly floor length with tennis shoes. I plan to order a second pair and drop the leg hem so I can wear with heels.

I ordered the color Wheeler because I liked the deep blue with minimal whiskering. In person, it’s more of a medium blue and a tone I’m not fond of. The inseam is fine but wish it was a half inch longer. Fit wise I didn’t feel these ran big but since there is substantial stretch, going down a size for the second skin look is doable. Ultimately they are being returned since at this price it should hit all my marks. On sale, if they do, might have been ok.
