Bettie Button Front Midi Dress

I’ll start with the positive this dress is super flattering on, I really wanted to keep it. BUT…the stitching is soooo bad. With white stitching on darker fabric it’s super noticeable. Lines are wonky, random places double stitched, loose threads everywhere. I understand this isn’t a $500 dress, but it’s really bad. If it comes back in stock I might reorder it hoping for a better one.

This dress fits amazing, and it is so cute. I wanted to keep it so badly, but the quality is that of a $10 dress. I do not think even Wal-Mart sells clothes this poor of quality. How any company that could have quality control that is THIS big of a joke, is beyond me. The white stitching all over the bust area is zig zagged and haphazard all across the dress. It is honestly like the person sewing it was wasted drunk, or just had zero cares about their job. AWFUL and there are MULTIPLE reviews that all say this. Get your act together Nordstrom/Petal & Pup! This is embarrassing.

I don’t normally write reviews, but I wanted to leave some information here in hopes it helps someone who has a similar body type. I have a narrow rib cage, barely a size B cup, but pretty wide hips. Most dresses that I try on either are too tight on the hips but fine around the bust… or it’s the opposite problem. If you have a similar body type to me, this dress is for you! I ordered the medium which fit my bust perfectly. Since the bottom of the dress is slightly wider than normal, it also fit my hips. The stitching on my dress was fine, but I was worried it would be sloppy compared to the other reviewers but I guess I got lucky. The hem work was fine on mine!
