Bed Stu

Founded in L.A. in 1995 but inspired by the Brooklyn streets, Bed Stu handcrafts shoes and boots for women and men. The brand uses traditional shoemaking techniques like hand-weaving and hand-sewing, as well as natural leathers (from free-range animals when possible) and a vegetable-based tanning process, so each shoe is unique and imperfect but always genuine.

Brie II
This boot is gorgeous in every way but fit. I am an 8.5 - 9 in other shoe brands but find BED STU to run considerably shorter and narrower. I ordered a 9.5 as are a couple of other pair of BED STU that I have. I was able to get the boot on w/o any trouble at all and then realized I was in the iron maiden of boots! The fit is way off! I have never had this happen w footwear before but my little toe, yes, my little toe, was squashed and hitting at the toe of the boot. Very odd fit.
