Flattering for the butt!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried these on in the store and the fit is extremely flattering, especially on the behind! Made my butt look smaller which was amazing, haha. Love these! Runs smaller than the darted barrels. I'm a 28 in these and 27 in the darted.

gaps horribly at the back of the waist

I’m a fairly normal sized person. I have an average sized booty. I got these because they looked cute, but when I tried them on I could probably stuff 10 large burritos in the space between the back belt loop and my butt crack. The fit at the front is fine. Why is there all this extra material specifically just at the waist on the back? For reference I am 5’4 and 135lbs, athletic build with a 26 in waist and 32 inch hips-I normally wear a 26, got a 27 due to reviews saying these run small (they do). Salesperson suggested getting these tailored at the waist, but for $150 I expect the jeans to just fit me properly.

Don’t hesitate!

These jeans! Let me preface by saying I bought the Madewell darted barrel jeans last year and liked them. These are WAY better! They are softer, while still being “rigid” and they sit just right. Eliminating the darts makes the legs more comfortable and they are so flattering in my legs. I am really hoping they’ll be available in black and maybe even white come spring. I ordered a size up from my usual size, based on an early review here and am glad I did. The smaller size (my regular size) fit, but one size up is just the right of slouch/room that makes them sit just right. They’re my new favorite jeans!
