What it is: A foundation made only of pure, crushed minerals from the earth that looks like a powder and feels like a cream.
What it does: It buffs onto skin like silk, giving skin a natural luminosity while feeling like you're not wearing any makeup at all. Made from loose minerals, it gives you all the flawless coverage you want with a naturally luminous finish and no-makeup look that lasts up to eight hours. The creamy minerals diminish the appearance of imperfections without drying out the skin.
How to use: Swirl a small amount of foundation by swirling the brush onto the lid until all the foundation has been tucked into the bristles. Tap away excess. There should be no visible foundation on the outside of the brush. Buff the foundation into the skin in a circular motion, starting on the outside of your face near your cheekbones and swirling as you go. Buff around your face then approach your forehead, cheeks and nose.

FINALLY figured out how to apply...
If it wasn't for so many mentions of 'Shelbey Wilsons' Youtube tutorials, my curiosity might never have been piqued and I might never have figured out how to successfully apply a powder foundation - almost 10 years after I wrote them off! If you haven't seen the video, the key is to moisturize first, use a primer and then apply only a very small amount of the powder and above all BUFF. The secret is in the buffing, take your time and work it in. The 'ah' moment for me was when Shelbey explained that the powder eventually transforms into a cream, once it mixes with your skins' natural oils, and it only does that if you spend a good amount of time buffing it into your skin. Suddenly it all made sense why I never got the results I hoped for. Now fast forward one week from the video and on my doorstep was a package from Bareminerals, containing the 'Golden Nude' foundation which I'd tried instore and found to be the nearest match, plus of course the 'Beautiful Finish brush'. I love how the coverage is buildable and yet natural looking. I've had no breakouts, as some have experienced/mentioned, even after sleeping with this on a couple of times. It's always easy to remove, no double-cleansing required as I'm so used to doing with liquid foundations. It also seemed to heal some minor acne on my chin, which I noticed shrank without me dabbing my usual Ordinary Niacinnamide gel on it. How about that? Every time I've tried a powder foundation in the past, whether Bareminerals or another company, I've always hated how my skin looks, especially my pores which would appear magnified. I seriously wish I'd learnt how to apply this correctly, sooner, because the results, when applied correctly, makes me look like I'm wearing a liquid foundation. My skin looks flawless. This is not how I ever imagined a powder foundation to look like. Gimmick
I bought this product in the whole set in hopes that it would provide great coverage without irritating my sensitive skin. I was completely disappointed. It looks like a cheap powder you buy at the drug store and made my skin look worse than when I didn't have it on. The coverage is really not very good, contrary to what they advertise and it didn't match my skin tone well at all. Plus it runs out rather quickly. For the price, I would buy a MAC foundation instead.

My Saving Grace
I have struggled with Adult acne on and off for a few years and have tried just about every product out there from the less expensive drug store brands to every expensive brand in high end department stores. I started using Bare Minerals 3 months ago and have noticed a DRASTIC improvement in my skins texture and appearance. I will never use another product again. This makeup is so light weight, it feels as if I am not even wearing any. I have gotten more compliments in the past few months than I have ever gotten on my complexion.
I highly recommend this product to anyone....but especially to a woman who has troubled skin. This makeup allows your skin to breath which is so important when acne is involved. It was really my saving grace in the makeup department. :)

Original and still the best
After developing allergies to an ingredient in most cosmetics I tried this again, having used it years ago. So much better now, with a dispensing top that eliminates all the mess and makes it easy to travel with as well. I use moisturizer and sunscreen first, then apply this. It looks natural and stays on all day. it lasts for months, too. I have dark brown hair, light eyes, get tan in the summer, and medium beige works for me all year.

Good Make-up
I am very allergic to make-up and BareMinerals is the only one that doesn't bother me and it looks good too which is a plus. I have used it for quite a few years now. What I also like is it does last all day where others don't. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who might have allergies to make-up or eye products. This really seems to work.

Love Bare Minerals
I have been using Bare Minerals foundation since its inception. It is the only foundation I will ever use. I use to wear liquid foundation but when I discovered Bare Minerals it's like wearing no foundation. It's very natural and looks like your wearing nothing. I love, love, love it and so will you.
