Dixon Bootie (Women)

These are gorgeous boots. The turquoise color is very bright. Stunning, really. But sadly, I'm going to have to return them. The back part of the boot that covers the heel of your foot is very tall. Abnormally tall. And it rubs about a third of the way up the back of my calf. It's just a weird design and I know it will rub blisters. I actually really love these booties and really want to keep them. But no boots are worth bleeding calves. They might work for someone taller? Or someone with skinnier ankles/calves?

Ordered these for an upcoming trip, expecting to need to break them in. First time I wore them, they were perfect. Leather is flexible, feet did not hurt after wearing and walking. The backs did slightly rub After a few hours of wearing, but did not leave a mark or cause a blister. I’m usually a 5.5 or 6 in booties, and the 5.5 in these fit perfectly with room to wear no-show socks.

These boots are excellent. They are true to size so I went half a size up knowing that I’d want a little room. They’re cowboy boots so per standard you need to spend some time breaking them in! They are perfect for summer and again if you break them before wearing you’ll be fine too!

These boots are sassy and sexy but the fit on the top part of the boot in the back heel area is stiff and has no give to it. This cuts into the top part of the heel within taking four steps. I don’t think this will stretch in time and may return them. I wore them with socks and bare..it made not difference in cutting into my heel.

Love these boots. Trying to justify another pair. Fits me true to size. I wore them a few hours the fist day and they did make the back of my calf a bit sore. Wore again a little longer the next day and of course they hit the already sore spot. BUT by the next wearing everything was fine. Now they are comfy cozy and perfect.
