Just buy it

Such a nice jacket! Can already tell it’s going to be durable. Has a slightly over sized fit so an under layer can be easily worn for extra warmth. Love love love it.

Smells like perfume

I’m not sure why my review was removed. Was it because I gave a low rating? I received the item yesterday, but its not a new one. The jacket has a strong perfume smell. I would like to exchange it, but the process is inconvenient and time-consuming, so I’ve decided to just keep it and wear it. Btw, If the review was removed because of the rating, I’m quite disappointed with that response.

My go-to for every adventure

I’d wanted this jacket for a long time, and it definitely lives up to the hype. The cut is very flattering and stylish, but it’s also technically sound being fully waterproof, with a sturdier shell material that feels built to last. It’s now my go-to for outdoor adventures and for the city. Very happy I finally got it!

Great fit but didn’t come with DWR

Bought for my girlfriend, she loved it but seems like it came with the no DWR on it (hydrophobic coating responsible for the “beading” effect for waterproof jacket. Could understand if it came used but was a disappointment new. Product service told me to buy DWR detergent and wash the jacket so maybe I’ll try that.

Hi Moen, thank you for leaving a review! The Altire Cropped Jacket Women's features a 3L GORE-TEX ePE face fabric with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish. Over time, DWR can appear less effective due to a variety of causes, including physical abrasion, exposure to dirt and body oils, and environmental exposure. In many cases, the finish hasn’t worn off but simply needs to be reactivated. Washing the jacket and putting it through the dryer helps restore the DWR. It's normal for DWR to gradually wear down with regular use, which is why periodic washing and drying (and re‑treating when needed) is part of standard GORE‑TEX care: https://arcteryx.com/us/en/help/product-care. We’re glad our After Sales team was able to point you in the right direction, and we hope a proper wash and dry will re-activate the DWR and bring out the performance you expected! The Rain Jacket of My Dreams

This jacket is exactly what I was looking for as a shorter woman who prefers a cropped fit. I wanted a functional, cool and flattering rain jacket and this one ticked all my boxes. The hood design is great as it’s roomy and allows for hats and hairstyles to fit inside comfortably, but it isn’t so big that it hangs in your face and impedes visibility. I really like the Forage colour way, it’s a neutral that goes with everything and yet is more interesting than something cream, black or white. I find it’s pretty true to size, so size up if you want to layer underneath. I’m usually a L but purchased an XL. I might have even considered buying an XXL if it was in stock because I like an oversized look.
