How to use: Use a light hand when picking up product because the formula is full pigment; a little bit goes a long way. To apply eyeshadow, use a flat brush to deposit color or highlight, or pack eyeshadow onto the lid. Use a fluffy ended brush to diffuse and blend out shadow. For a more intense color payoff, pair metallic shades with a setting spray. Use the matte and metallic eyeshadows as highlight shades. Use the warm matte neutral eyeshadows for contouring and defining and the warm and cool metallic eyeshadows as accent shades.

Amazing shades
I recently purchased The Anastasia Beverly Hills Mini Modern Renaissance Eyeshadow Palette and so far I find it looks so pretty on my light/fair skin and brown eyes! The shades look amazing together - adding a lovely amount of shimmer and autumnal depth. The formula feels nice and smooth and looks polished. Love it, great value with lots of different shades in a compact case.

Packaging does not hold up!
I ordered this same pallet Twice! I thought maybe the shipping and handling went wrong the first time but no! I used this maybe 3 or 4 times and the dark brown color completely broke and made a mess everywhere. It was the same color that had broken and made a mess in the first one I ordered. I love this brand so Im super disappointed.

Cute palette
I wanted a travel size version of one of my all time favourite palettes from a few years ago. It’s small and compact and travel friendly. You get more for your money if you go with the bigger palette but it just depends on if you like this sort of colour scheme.

Palette Perfection
This is a palette I will reach for again and again, so much so that I bought a second one just in case Anastasia stops making it. The shadows have impressive longevity on primed eyelids; for additional staying power, I mist just a smidgen of setting spray on the brush before application. The color payoff is about average but layering really amplifies the richness of the shades. And the colors themselves? It’s hard not to love them. You will always have a use for at least one of the shadows on this palette.
I appreciate that it’s mattes with only one shimmery highlight shade — a versatile golden ivory. So many eyeshadow palettes have actual glitter in them. This one doesn’t and it’s one of its many strengths. You don’t have to worry about glitter fallout and its attendant annoying mess. I recently bought Laura Mercier’s limited edition palette Japan in Bloom which has a similar pink-heavy color story and several audaciously shiny shades that disintegrate into glitter the moment they touch your lid. Suffice it to say Anastasia’s product is superior in almost every way.
