Cute, but did not protect.
I purchased these swim tights for my daughter and while the style and fit are great, they are a bit see through and after a less than an hour session at the pool, she has tan lines on the inner and outer sides of her legs where the seams are. Perhaps this is because of the lighter in color fabric, but I am extremely disappointed these were not able to work out.

Best leggingz for all weather and activity!
Perfect fit for our 5 year old & 3 year old daughters. Im I bought one size up for my girls. The leggingz are still fitted. The drawstring cinches the waist and comfortable for both. I wore my black uvskinz leggingz and girls wore their colorful leggingz to the guiness world's record largest bounce house. I was able to snap a picture of my husband and our girls sliding down a large slide! Definitely breathable, lightweight, soft, comfortable, and wicks away sweat! I highly recommend.

No Burn!
I was happy to find these swim pants before our trip to Hawaii. They kept my fair skinned daughter free from burns while playing through the most intense sun of the day. The only drawback is that they do take a while to dry.
