3D Floral Embellished Cap Sleeve Gown

This is a gorgeous dress and I was very excited to try it as a potential Mother of the Groom gown. I tried it on and liked it but it was quite snug! I checked the label and, sure enough, wrong size. I ordered a 12 and a 10 was sent. I called and was told there are “no more 12s and I was probably sent the 10 on the hopes it fit!” I’m so disappointed. Back it goes.

This dress is lovely. For reference, I'm 6' tall and 273 pounds. I wear either a size 22 or 24 depending on the fit of an item. I ordered the 24 and it fit just right. I ordered several dresses to wear as mother of the bride and I was happy with all of them. I love the embellishments on this dress, they really elevate it from a more simple mono-color dress. But they make the dress very heavy, so keep that in mind. I'm a busty woman, but it still fit up top, but just barely. Ultimately, I decided to wear a different dress, but I would have been happy with this one if I had never seen the other dress I'm going to wear.

I love this dress. It is lighter than many other dresses I have tried. It fits very well even in the length. I purchased the green sage color. I have been actively looking for a green/olive dress for my son’s wedding for several months. This color is darker than the photo. It is a light olive/dark sage color. Can’t wait to wear it!
