What it does: MAC Prep + Prime 24-Hour Extend Eye Primer is specially formulated to prolong the look of your eye makeup. This primer keeps eye makeup looking fresh and vibrant all day. Extends the wear of your eye shadow for up to 24 hours! This formula saves shadows from creasing and fading, while allowing hues to stay colour-true for up to a full day. Comfortable and lightweight, it is infused with the rich antioxidant vitamin E.
How to use: Apply eye primer all over eyelids. Allow to dry for a minute before the application of eye makeup.

Great Product
For years I have struggled with buying eye make up that lasts and avoiding "raccoon eyes". Eventually, I got to the point where I rarely made up my eyes. It just wasn't worth it. This didn't bother me most of the time, but for more special occasions it did. Believe it or not a stranger told me about this product while I was shopping so I gave it a shot. I am very happy with this product and am glad that now, when I want to wear eye make up, I am confident that I will not end up with raccoon eyes. I will caution readers to make sure they have a good eye make-up remover when they want to take make up off. Yes! That's how well it works--you struggle to get your eye make up off. I'd much rather have that issue than the raccoon alternative.

Greasy; Does Not Work
I’ve been a loyal MAC customer for 18 years now, and this is by far the worst product they have ever put out. I tried it two ways: by itself and then put eye shadow on and then I tried it with concealer over it and eye shadow. By the end of the day, my eye shadow was a greasy, blobby mess. My eye liner was all over the place. It was worse than using nothing.

Great Product

Perfect!
I am amazed.
I have very oily skin and did not expect this to work, but it proved me wrong.
This is a thick cream that you have to squeeze out of the tube, you put a little on your hand, rub a little and it starts to melt, once soft, rub the smallest bit onto your eyelid, there is zero color. If you want to use a base for color over this you can, if not you can apply eyeshadow directly to your lids on top of this (no need to wait for it to dry). This stuff doesn't crease, doesn't come off until you wash it over. I am a fan for life.

Love
I have extremely oily eyelids and hooded eyes. This is the second primer I've found that works for me however this one is a bit cheaper than the one I was using. This tube will last for a long time, a little bit of this goes a long way. I will never be without this.

Stay put
I've used Trish McEvoy Eye Base Essentials for many years and loved it until my allergies caught up with me. I've researched for another eye primer and very skeptically settled for MAC after reading the ingredients. Much to my surprise that MAC eye primer didn't give my sensitive eyes any problem. I don't know if it would hold up the 24 hours as claimed, but my eyeshadows stay put throughout the day and that is good enough for me.

long lasting
This is the first eye base that I have ever used that has allowed my eye shadow (any brand) to last all day. This is an awesome product. Don't change eye shadows, change the base!

The best eye primer
I've used several eye primers, including the famous Urban Decay primer.. BUT I like this one best. I don't have oily eye lids, but I wear this primer to make the eye shadow pop the way it is supposed to and to make it last for a long time (15+ hours). A little goes a long way!!! One tube will last about a year. Seriously. Also, I have very sensitive eyes, but this product does not aggravate my eyes at all. Highly recommend it.
