2Ct TW Heart Shape Diamond Studs Lab Grown 14k Gold

The lack of paperwork for this jewelry is kind of mind blowing. Wanted to send it back, but my wife loved it. Loved the bold shape. They give you the carat and clarity, on the receipt. Obviously it is a heart shape cut, proclaims to be a VS on clarity (usually deal with clarity as a VS1 or even better VS2 usually not just a VS) which is not bad, and nothing on color. Rare to see so little information on a diamond, especially when you're buying diamonds in the 1 carat and above size. So you have no way of proving what this diamond is and what its value is unless you take to an appraiser. Never bought a lab grown diamond before. I figured it would be a good time to try a unique shape as I know I wouldn't buy a heart shaped natural diamond. It looks very good on my wife. The brilliance is not there, compared to her engagement ring which is 1 carat, VS2 clarity, D color, and ideal cut. The bona fides of the diamond only mean anything if you're looking to sell or show off. Since, we're looking at lab grown, I would assume we're not showing off too much. The same diamond at Blue Nile would cost a little over $1,000 with 1 carat, VS1 clarity, D color, heart shaped cut no ear ring mounting. Nice purchase for the price. As long as we're sure we're getting what the description tells us.
