1960s Flare Swing Coat

Besides the chemical smell out of the shipping bag, I was astonished that Nordstrom would associate their brand with the poor quality of this coat. It felt more like a $30 knockoff coat you can buy off Amazon. The fabric was synthetic and not a caliber that should be used in a dressy coat. Returning this and the rest of the purchase I made from this brand.

I was so disappointed with this coat that I returned it. The fabric was very cheap & the shape did not hold (the bow was crooked & the sleeves were not sewn on evenly). Also, according to the size chart, I should have worn a large but it was HUGE on me. I was so disappointed because I really wanted to wear this coat for the holidays with my vintage dresses.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coat is great! Thick, stylish, and comfortable. Unfortunately, i got it too big. I followed the sizing chart but the neck hole was way bigger than my head and looked weird. I had to return it and ill eventually reorder it if it ever goes on sale again. I just hope it doesn't get discontinued since it seems a lot of the barbie stuff is being clearanced!

I love this coat, the color is gorgeous and the fit is perfect! I would like to see it made in a fabric with a bit more structure, but I still like it in the fabric that IS used. Ultimately, I chose to return this beautiful piece because it is a very warm coat and that makes it unlikely I'll be able to get much wear out of it during the mild winters in my state. I'd reccomend the coat to anyone who wants to make a fashion impact, though!
