Nice, but not a true straight leg
These are a nice, lightweight linen pant, however they are wide leg. I bought them hoping for a true straight leg as most linen pants look beachy, but these were no different. The trouser zip and button top is nice instead of a drawstring though.

Best linens pants - make more colors!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have several linen pants in my closet from various brands, but these are my favorite by FAR. They’re extremely flattering and don’t have excess material that bunches up like my other linens do. You can dress them up or down- they’re so versatile. Madewell, please come out with more colors like ivory, navy, red, etc and I promise I’ll buy them all!!

Comfy and Polished
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Agree with other reviews that these linen pants are the right balance of comfortable and polished, due to the elastic back waistband and button front. Tailored through hips and thighs without being tight and flare at the bottom is not overwhelming on my 5'4" frame. So glad I tried these on in store.

Nicely fitted/tailored through hips and thighs. The bottom flare is not too overwhelming for me, at 5'4" and no longer a kid! Hem comes to the floor in flats but I don't think they will need to be shortened.
