Must Have Pants

I love these pants. The side pocket on the left allows for easy access from both the top and front, which is great when sitting down, and the two zippers keep things secure. The material has a nice stretch to it, and the built-in “belt” or synch strap is a must have. They are lightweight yet strong. I use them for casual, travel and hiking. I wish PrAna would offer black. I highly recommend them.

Went From the Best to One of the Worst

Not sure how it's possible to get something so wrong after getting something so right. The Zioneers were in my opinion one of the most versatile and comfortable pants made. Everything about them was functional and so clean. The little thigh pocket blended so nice with the pants and was so convenient. And the materials were amazing. Still have several pants going strong. These current pants are like the exact opposite. Giant cargo pocket is bulky and ugly. They do make a clean 5-pocket version, but for some reason those don't have the integrated belt. And the materials used tear just looking at them wrong. Please bring back the old Zioneers!

Best Travel Pants Ever

This style with the side pocket makes for the best travel pants ever as well as doing all-around casual duty. I was particularly pleased to try the slim fit variation, which are a lot less loose in the butt and just right along my legs. I expect to buy a couple more pairs along the way since, at my age, I've found that my height has been shrinking over the past few years and my usual 32" inseam pants are too long but 30" is just about right.
