Z1 Classic Sandal (Women)

I have worn Chacos as my only shoe now for 14 years in Hawaii, even under rugged conditions they last a long time. My only complaint is after some time the sole separates from the shoe bed.. I am 76 years old and my feet swell and this is the only shoe that will accommodate my feet and be totally comfortable all day long. Chaco should come up with more choices in Wide width. Chaco may be missing the Senior market.

These came highly praised by a group of ladies that I fly fish with, so I decided to give them a shot. I've read on the Chaco website that they have a break in period. I wore them a few times a week, for a few hours over a 2 month period of time with little to no issues. I could never get the right shoe to fit just right. I took them on a recent trip to Sedona. I did a quick 3 mile, easy hike on my first day in these and ended up giving me the absolute worst and most painful bubble blisters on the outside of each of my foot!! I had to use duct tape on each foot to get through my weekend of hiking in my hiking boots. I wear an 8.5/9 and ordered these in an 8 and they fit just fine!
