Ruffle Puff Sleeve Gown

The fabric is of good quality, substantial enough for a formal dress but not too thick and not too heavy. I’m 5’4”, mostly wears size 12 and got the large. The length was right (if wearing heels) but the neckline was a bit too wide for my shoulders and the edge of the sleeves were a little tight. The waistline would be fine if wearing shapewear but otherwise will show the tummy pouch.

I am beyond disappointed with my recent Nordstrom purchase. I ordered a $200 dress expecting the quality and care that Nordstrom used to be known for. Instead, what I received was a dress shoved into a cheap plastic bag — no protective packaging, and no hanger. Even worse, the dress was clearly previously worn and returned. Someone had obviously tried to “fix” the wrinkles by ironing it — and completely ruined it. The fabric now has visible heat damage: shiny spots, a faint scorch mark, and deep imprints where the iron was left too long (photo attached).
