very cute set but shorts run big!

I love this set. I needed a medium in the top and ordered medium in the shorts but they’re way too big and I’m going to exchange for a small or XS. If you’re between sizes, I recommend sizing down. For reference, I’m 5’11-140 lbs, size 4 or 6 usually, 27.5 inch waist. By their sizing chart, I should be medium.
