There’s mixed feelings in my household. My fiancé thinks it’s a waste of money. I love it. I bought it for my now 7-1/2 month baby girl, and there’s a couple of issues that I have. One is that my baby is kind of small so strapping her in as intended doesn’t work. However, I managed to pull the Velcro edges towards the front and cross it to the middle Velcro part for it to stay. It works well on this sense. The only other issue is that if you pull too hard, it’ll look like it’ll pull the fabric from the back loop piece that holds the Velcro straps and could potentially rip. (It hasn’t) Overall, my baby has grown to sit well in it without assistance and she definitely touch and feel the cushioned table top. My nephew loves sitting in it (he’s a year older) so there’s definitely room for growth. I place other toys in the chair with her and used to prop her up with rolled blankets on the side until she could sit up for long periods of time. Attached photo is her at around 5months (with the sunflower toy) and then 6months.

My LO loves this chair! I bought it just before he was able to sit up independently so we could maximize his time to use this. He is now sitting independently and LOVES being able to sit up with support from the chair (why it’s so firm - anything super soft would be a suffocation hazard for really little babes). He will even play with the detachable activity part on the floor. I’m glad I purchased this as it will be a great chair for many years and is well made!

When we took it out of the box we were slightly disappointed with simply how cheap it felt. There were strings hanging off of most of the seams and it just didn’t seem to be the quality you’d expect for almost $200. Within 4 hours of our 5 month old merely sitting in it a whole seam came unstitched and the interior foam was falling out. Normally I’d just sew it up myself and keep using it, but for the price we decided to return it. Looks cute online and she actually really liked it, however I would not recommend this product. (Hopefully ours was a dud experience)
